The very tame cows lean over the fence waiting for their noses to be scratched. This cottage is over 300 year old cottage, the staircase is lit by a full height Cathedral type window. The stair joists and roof timbers appear to have been salvaged from an old church. The decorative balustrade, at the top of the stairs, is formed from the delicately turned spindles of an Lancashire cotton mill.
